Today is
the first day of build season! Like last year, we woke up extremely early to go
to Mountlake Terrace High School, where we watched this year’s game animation:
After discussing the game with other teams at Mountlake Terrace, we returned to Sammamish and began to break the game down ourselves. While some of our methods were conventional, we also went outside and simulated a robot running cycles using a team member, who ran back and forth on the concrete outside. The result was both valuable and…intriguing to watch.
We also shot
T-shirts at the alumni basketball game and ALS fundraiser. Despite having a few
technical difficulties, the audience enjoyed seeing Tomo again (our T-shirt
shooting robot), which made coming to the basketball game well worth the
trouble.
