Day 40

Everyone! We did it! We have a robot and it works (mostly). 

This thing is huge. In that fully extended position, it is over nine feet long. 

Even then, it's also at least five feet tall. Luckily, it folds up some. 

This is also going to be a loud bot. Acme rod does not seem to actuate quietly, and  the elevator is especially loud as the gearbox makes a ton of noise. I half expect an announcer to say "team 2412 is making an alarming sound"

We have a bot. All that left is refinement and testing for five days.
