Day 33: (Formerly) working robot!

Today our robot worked! Notice that “worked” is in the past tense.

We finished wiring and routing and began testing afterwards. All parts of the robot were working when our lift motors burnt out due to the load we were putting on them. Disturbingly, the smell of motors burning reminded many team members of food. Perhaps we should’ve gathered around the robot and made s’mores.

There are still some other modifications to make, however. Software needs to test autonomous. The robot doesn’t hold on to the cube firmly enough. Finally, the intake is too “wibbly-wobbly”.

GO ROBOTOTES!!!
