Today we
worked (relatively) late into the night, despite a rather sparsely-attended
meeting. We continue to make more progress on CAD models of parts to manufacture,
and plan to meet more often and longer as more parts arrive.
We also
tested a sensor today, and in the process noted that the positive and negative wires
on the cable we used were somehow switched, causing the sensor to heat up quite
a bit. As soon as we discovered the issue, we unplugged the sensor and labeled
the faulty cable:
Miraculously,
the sensor worked after we replaced the evil cable with a much more good-natured
one.
