Today's meeting
mainly focused on testing/driving the robot.
The drivebase
subteam worked on the practice bot's drivebase and found that the practice
robot was drifting to the right because a battery was making the robot off-balance.
They also continued to work on the bumpers, which are close to completion.
Gear intake
continued to manufacture spare parts for competition.
Like yesterday,
programming tested autonomous. The plan is to program an autonomous mode for
when the peg is directly in front of the robot. They plan to add more
autonomous modes later.
After dinner (Sloppy
Joe) we held drive tryouts, which was delayed a little while because of some
problems with the gear intake. The team hopes to finish drive tryouts tomorrow.
