Although there was no school today due to a professional development day, we still met from 3:30 to 8, as usual.
The drivebase subteam continued to figure out where everything on our robot would go.
The team also worked on the gear intake. Every day, it looks less like a prototype and more like a finished system.
Meanwhile, software figured out how to calculate the path to the target. We also continued to work on communication issues between the raspberry pi and the roboRIO.
The team also worked on fixing some wheels on a cart so that it turns properly.
We also had dinner, thanks to one of our robotics parents.
The team recently acquired a "brand new" fridge. During the beginning of the meeting, we found that it takes three robotics members to close a fridge:
-One to complain that it will not close
-Two (!) to point out that a soda bottle is keeping the fridge from closing
