Due to various
conflicts, today's meeting was sparsely populated.
Fortunately, our
team continued to work on our new robot:
-The gear subteam
continued to work on "crazy silliness", according to our Robot Lead.
This silliness seems to have consisted of taking off the intake, drilling
holes, and putting the intake back on again
-The drivebase
subteam kept working on figuring out where everything on the robot will go. This
process mainly involved making CAD models in Inventor.
-Programming
managed to send data from the raspberry pi to the roboRIO. This data is
primarily for calculating the route to the peg. Afterwards, the team was also
able to setup a vision target for testing vision processing.
The team also ate
dinner (Fried rice, broccoli, and shrimp. It was delicious!), as well as some
fortune cookies. With about one and a half boxes left, the team is frantically
eating all of the fortune cookies before they go stale or moldy. One
interesting fortune read, "Better be cautious at first than tears
afterwards".
